Your website is a set of files, organized the way a house is organized. Here’s the whole thing, room by room:

The steering wheel: why you never touch the files
Here’s the part that surprises people: as our client, you never open, edit, or even see these files — and that’s a feature, not a restriction.
Your dashboard is the steering wheel. When you change a headline, swap a photo, or publish a blog post, our system writes that change into the house for you, records it in a permanent logbook, and rebuilds the site. Every change is recorded, which means every change can be undone. You cannot break your website from the dashboard. That is the whole point of it.
The utilities: your forms, chat, and booking
Contact forms, the chat bubble, your booking calendar — these aren’t built into the walls. They’re utilities, like power and water: services that run on our platform and connect to your house through one small socket.
That design has two consequences you should like:
- Turning a tool on or off is a click in your dashboard — nobody rewires your house.
- There are no passwords or secret keys hidden in your website’s files. The keys live with us, on our side of the socket.
How a change goes live
No FTP, no “did someone remember to upload it,” no fragile manual steps. The same reviewed, repeatable process every single time.
If you ever move: the honest answer
We built this so the honest answer is a good one.
You take the house. Your website is a completely standard, industry-normal codebase — the kind any professional web developer will recognize on sight. It’s yours, along with your domain name, every page, every post, every image, and an export of your customer data. A new developer or hosting company can take it and run it without calling us.
The utilities disconnect. The forms, chat, booking, email campaigns, and the dashboard itself are services our platform operates. When you move out, they stop — the same way the power company doesn’t follow you to a new city. You’d contract those services elsewhere, or have a developer wire up replacements.
What you’d be taking on: the parts you currently never think about — security updates, maintenance, backups, and having someone on call when a change is needed. That’s the actual trade, stated plainly. Not a wall. A choice.
Three words, defined once
- Repo — the master copy of your house, with its full logbook of every change ever made.
- Build — the step where your content and design get assembled into the fast, finished pages visitors see.
